FAQs

Do you offer in-person sessions?

1

At this time, only telehealth therapy sessions are available. If you have concerns or questions about this, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

What are your hours of availability? What if I am in a crisis?

2

Appointments are typically available Fridays, evenings, and weekends. Dr. Veillette will work to accommodate client needs/preferences when possible.

If, at any time, you experience a mental health emergency, please do what you can to keep yourself and/or others safe; Call 911, 988 (mental health crisis line), or go to the nearest emergency room.

What can I expect each session?

3

Initial sessions are typically about two hours long and can be broken up over multiple sessions if needed. During that time, we will explore your history, presenting concern(s), and goals for therapy. You will likely be asked to complete baseline symptom checklists. After your initial session(s), we will discuss treatment planning and the anticipated duration of care.

Subsequent sessions are approximately 45 minutes in length. At the beginning of each session, we will co-develop an “agenda” for our time together based on your goals for therapy. You may also be asked to complete a symptom checklist to assess progress. At-home practice may be encouraged between sessions.
